Laborer Position Available In Elk, Pennsylvania

Job duties:

• Assembly
• machine operations in the assembly of pallets. Will be placing stringers into the machine, manually placing the top and bottom boards, ensuring the machine is nailing the boards in place.
• Mill hand
• will be performing various jobs within the mill.

Assisting with cutting boards to length, planing boards, notching, other general laborer jobs. Knowledge & Skills Ability to lift, twist and bend for duration of shift Ability to utilize tools such as various saw, machine operations Visually inspecting wood for defects prior to placing them in the machine Willing to work in varied temperatures Ability to work at a pace that is productive Ability to follow verbal instructions given by manager Education & Experience Experience in wood industry helpful but not needed.
