General Construction Helper Salt Pond Builders Narragansett, RI 02882 We are looking for a reliable and motivated Assistant to support a small construction business owner with daily operations. This hands-on role involves a variety of responsibilities such as picking up materials, helping keep job sites clean and organized, and providing general support wherever needed. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being active, learning on the job, and being part of a fast-paced, project-driven environment. Duties Assist in maintaining clean and organized job sites. Pick up and deliver materials and tools from Home Depot, local lumber yards, and supply stores. Load and unload materials at job sites. Help with basic site setup and preparation tasks. Provide general on-site assistance to the business owner and subcontractors. Ensure tools and materials are stored safely and properly at the end of the day. Follow directions and communicate clearly with the team to keep projects running smoothly. Skills & Requirements Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license. Good physical stamina and ability to lift and carry supplies. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable working outdoors and on active job sites. Willingness to learn and take initiative. Friendly, dependable, and punctual.
