General Construction Laborer Position Available In Berkeley, South Carolina

Qualifications:

Must be authorized to work in the US Must be 18 years of or older Ability to do repetitive physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks Must pass a pre-employment drug test and ongoing quarterly testing. We are a drug free workplace! Prefer that you have experience as a general laborer in dirt or site construction, landscape, or land clearing industry Must be aware of your surroundings, wear protective gear, and keep safety first! This can be an entry level position in which will can train the right person.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for cleaning and preparing earthworks construction sites Help equipment operator and other skilled labor when necessary Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards Remove, fill, or compact earth or rock Follow instructions from supervisors in a respectful and responsive manner Ready to and willing learn from on-the-job training when necessary and be receptive to it Perform site clean-up Ability to work in all weather and environmental conditions including: rain, heat, cold, mud, dirt/dust, and around loud noises Workers must be consistently punctual and reliable. Show up on time every scheduled day! Worker is responsible to get to and from the assigned jobsite Hours are typically 7:00am-5:00pm Monday-Saturday. Overtime may be required.
