This hands-on role involves supporting skilled craftspeople in various aspects of home restoration projects. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and interest in historic preservation. Responsibilities Assist master craftspeople with demolition, salvage, and restoration tasks Prepare work areas by setting up equipment and materials Remove debris and maintain clean, safe work enviornments Load and unload building materials and move them to work areas Operate hand and power tools under supervision Assist with scaffolding assembly and disassembly Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous construction or restoration experience is a plus, but not required Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds regularly Comfort working in varying conditions (heights, confined spaces, outdoors) Reliable transportation to job sites Valid drivers license preferred What we offer Competitive pay Opportunity for skill development and advancement Exposure to historic restoration techniques On-the-job training with master craftspeople
