The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment, particularly skid steers, in various construction environments. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient site operations and contributing to the successful completion of projects. Duties Operate skid steer loaders to perform tasks such as digging, grading, and moving materials on construction sites. Collaborate with team members to execute horizontal drilling and other site-specific operations. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on the skid steer and other heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance. Safely maneuver equipment around construction sites, avoiding hazards and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Assist in the operation of additional heavy machinery as needed, including backhoes, graders, and bulldozers. Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles, ensuring proper handling and storage. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with skid steers. Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety procedures. Experience in horizontal drilling, tanker operation, grader operation, commercial driving, bulldozing, building, and backhoe operation is highly desirable. Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment. Valid driver’s license; additional certifications for heavy equipment operation are a plus.
