Construction General Laborer Position Available In Shelby, Tennessee

Description

• Rough-In Clean-Up:

  Perform clean-up tasks around rough-ins, including removing debris, dust, and construction waste to prepare areas for further work

• Worksite Maintenance:

  Maintain cleanliness across the entire worksite, ensuring that all areas are free from hazards and debris

• Material Handling:

  Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment, ensuring they are stored properly

• Tool Operation:

  Use basic hand tools and equipment such as brooms, shovels, and wheelbarrows to facilitate clean-up tasks

• Safety Compliance:

  Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members

• Support Tasks:

  Provide assistance to other construction workers with various tasks, including setting up and dismantling temporary structures, moving materials, and preparing sites for construction activities. • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe worksite
• Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a cooperative and positive attitude
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite. Experience Level Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00
• $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
