Role Description We are seeking experienced and motivated Commercial Drywall Superintendents to join our team in our Gulf Coast office located in Daphne, AL. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated leader in the Commercial Drywall industry, ready to manage a motivated team. They will have a strong background in commercial metal stud framing, drywall, and acoustic ceilings and will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience as a Commercial Drywall Superintendent in the construction industry. Thorough understanding of interior & exterior framing, hanging, and finishing methods. Knowledge of job site safety regulations, procedures, and loss prevention. Proficient in reading schematics, blueprint, shop drawings and other construction documents is essential. Proficient in interior and exterior layout from blueprints. Familiarity with construction and computer software. Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Strong project management, coordination, and scheduling skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are completed on-time, and on-budget Collaborate with general contractor’s project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth operations and communication. Ensure that jobs adhere to safety standards, customer relationships, quality, and production goals. Lead and mentor field staff, providing guidance and support to ensure quality workmanship and safety standards. Implement and manage required job-site safety programs, conducting weekly “toolbox talks.” Manage detailed schedules based on established general contractor timelines. Ensure complete, accurate daily documentation of changes, work orders, and daily logs. Create and maintain relationships with colleagues, clients, subcontractors, and vendors. Demonstrate a positive attitude and passion for construction and our industry. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual English/Spanish First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred.
