Commercial Construction Estimator/Project Manager Webb Builders, Inc. Millbrook, AL 36054
Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates and project proposals for commercial construction projects. Review and analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor/vendor bids to evaluate competitiveness and scope alignment. Collaborate with internal teams to develop cost-effective solutions and value engineering options . Maintain and manage project documentation, bid files, and cost data for ongoing and future reference. Participate in bid reviews, pre-bid meetings, and post-bid negotiations as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as a Construction Estimator in commercial construction, preferably on warehouse, gas station, and municipal building projects. Proficient in estimating and drafting software , including AutoCAD, PlanSwift , and Microsoft Office Suite ( Excel, Word, Outlook ). Strong working knowledge of construction plans, specifications, and material take-offs . Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with team members, vendors, and clients. Highly organized , detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple deadlines and priorities. Experience using Adobe Acrobat and other tools for document markup and submission preparation.
