Industrial Development Coordinator Job Description We are seeking an experienced Industrial Development Coordinator to generate new business opportunities and provide superior customer service. The ideal candidate will have a background in industrial sales, HVAC, and plumbing, and be adept at building strong client relationships. This role requires a self-starter who can collaborate with interoffice personnel to generate estimates, quotes, and proposals, while also developing strategies to increase revenue streams. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with all appropriate updates. Responsibilities Generate new business opportunities by prospecting for new clients. Build and maintain effective relationships and rapport with key client personnel. Provide superior customer service. Expand operational capability by communicating organizational services to existing clients. Collaborate with interoffice personnel to generate estimates, quotes, and proposals for acquired business opportunities. Develop strategies to consistently identify opportunities to increase revenue streams. Maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with all appropriate informational updates. Essential Skills Experience in industrial sales, HVAC, and plumbing. Proficiency in relationship management and outside sales. Self-starter with project coordination and construction estimation experience. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Building Science, or related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC. Operational understanding of HVAC components and systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Additional Skills & Qualifications Degree in construction or business management is a plus. Work Environment This role offers a 40% bonus structure depending on profitability, with adjustments possible over time as jobs become more profitable. The work environment includes collaboration with interoffice personnel and requires strong communication and estimation skills.
