Job Description

Radiance Technologies is seeking a Security Specialist to provide support to the Army DEVCOM/AvMC Customer. This position will be located at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The successful candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is a proven self-starter, capable of working independently and with a team. This role is a SETA contractor.

Principle Responsibilities:

Act as primary document control custodian for all incoming and outgoing classified material.

Tracking and providing general maintenance of the daily traffic of documents and communication. This includes general project correspondence, project reporting, implementation of the management plans, and maintaining the overall hard copy and electronic filing systems. Utilize Sign in Solutions software to create, track, and manage all classified material holdings.

Assist with day-to-day operations of information system security in accordance with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and Department of Defense (DoD) requirements.

Follow security procedures and document control requirements to ensure the proper handling, marking, and always tracking of classified information between various internal areas, GSA approved safes and external locations.

Wrap, package, and ship classified material in accordance with approved regulations.

Monitoring program correspondence to ensure that transmitted documents have been received and to ensure that documents requiring response are returned in a timely manner. This will entail direct communication with all entities involved with the Army DEVCOM/AvMC Customer.

Prime hand receipt holder for all classified material. Manage sub hand receipts for those with classified holdings.

Act as the principal destruction agent for all classified material.

Interact with Army DEVCOM/AvMC Customer civilian and contractor personnel to ensure classified materials are being kept in accordance with applicable need to know and contract requirements.

Conduct semi annual inventories with records maintained

IAW 32 CFR

Part 117 requirements.

Act as the subject matter expert for all classified holdings within the Army DEVCOM/AvMC Customer facility.

Primary courier briefer and card issuance for approved and designated couriers.

Support classified meetings as the main security point of contact for the Army DEVCOM/AvMC Customer.

Utilize DISS to verify clearances of incoming personnel for meetings.

Retrieve, gather, and store any classified material needed and/or generated during an authorized classified meeting.

Provide administrative support as required.

Interacts with all levels of company personnel and management on matters pertaining to security policy and procedures.

Maintain and update of personnel security files.

Monitor access control and CCTV.Maintain the company badging system and policy.

Perform other administrative activities/assignments as directed by supervisor.

Minimum QualificationsMinimum of Top-Secret clearance.15-20 years of experience in a security or IT function directly related to discipline.

Ability to pay strict attention to detail.

Adjust priorities according to direction and be available for a variety of tasks as the need arises.

Good organizational skills.

Possession of excellent judgment, decision-making, teamwork, and customer service skills.

Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Willing to perform repetitive data entry.

Effective interpersonal skills (ability to relate at all levels of the organization) with a positive, customer service-oriented attitude.

Preferred QualificationsProperty or classified material accountability experience.

Experience with DoD security systems or databases, including DISS, NISS and SWFTKnowledge of NISPOM and DoD security requirementsPrevious records management experienceKnowledge operating standard office equipment, including auto ation tools and Microsoft Office software applications.
