Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, particularly those related to USACE Projects. This is a permanent position that offers excellent growth opportunities and the chance to work on exciting and challenging projects.
Responsibilities:
1.
Project Management:
Take charge of planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed within budget, on time, and in accordance with all relevant regulations and requirements.

Team Leadership:
Lead and supervise a team of construction professionals, including subcontractors and laborers, to ensure efficient and effective project execution. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
3.
Quality Assurance:
Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control throughout the construction process. Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential issues or deviations from project specifications, and implement corrective measures as needed.
4.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and regulations on construction sites. Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, and training sessions to promote a culture of safety and minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.
5.
Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and project team members. Effectively communicate project progress, challenges, and recommendations to ensure alignment and resolve any issues that may arise.
6.
Budget and Cost Control:
Manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and control costs to ensure projects are completed within the allocated budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize project profitability.
7.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, progress reports, change orders, and other relevant records. Prepare comprehensive reports for management and clients, highlighting project status, milestones, and any potential risks or delays.
Qualifications:
1.
Construction Experience:
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong background in managing and supervising construction projects.
2.
Superintendent Skills:
Proven expertise in overseeing construction projects as a Superintendent, demonstrating a solid understanding of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
3.
Federal Government Construction:
Experience working on Federal Government Construction projects (ie. US Army Corps of Engineers). Familiarity with relevant regulations and requirements is essential.
4.
Leadership Abilities:
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
5.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve construction-related issues promptly and effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial in managing complex construction projects.
6.
Organizational Skills:
Exceptional organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Attention to detail is critical in ensuring quality and accuracy in all aspects of project management.
