Full Job Description Job Summary:
Residential Electrical Trainer is responsible for the hands-on residential electrical training program. Works with new hires during training to monitor performance, answer questions and provide support.
Supervisor Responsibilities:
Administer, lead, and train new hire classes with up to 15 attendees.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
Lead, monitor, motivate and oversee their trainees to meet productivity and quality standards. Ensure work is being installed according to local and NEC codes. Order materials as needed to complete the job. Complete payroll tickets weekly for the crew. Consistently check for code compliance. Assist with troubleshooting as necessary to meet home completion deadlines. All other duties as assigned by management. Required skills /
Abilities:
Proficient mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment. Possess knowledge of the current National Electric Code. Ability to read and accurately interpret electrical drawings and blueprints. Demonstrates safe work habits and proper care for tools and equipment. Excellent presentation skills, with demonstrated proficiency in presenting information clearly and effectively in both oral and written communication. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to meet deadlines and goals. Effective problem-solving skills. Must have a Valid Driver’s License and clean MVR report
Education/ Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 5 years of experience in fast-paced, high-volume residential electrical new construction.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
