We are seeking a skilled and experienced Traveling Multifamily Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects in the multifamily housing sector.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while traveling to various job sites as required. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations on multifamily construction sites, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and laborers to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality construction.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, compliance with safety regulations, and quality of work.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop project schedules and budgets, and track progress against them.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site, ensuring that work continues smoothly and safely.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to project status, changes, and site conditions. Qualifications Proven experience as a Traveling Superintendent in multifamily and apartment construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and best practices, particularly in garden-style multifamily developments.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster collaboration.
Site work/Horizontal work is a HUGE plus
Carpentry Background is a HUGE Plus
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications accurately.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Willingness to travel to various job sites as required, with a flexible schedule. Benefits
