Project Manager Position Summary The Project Manager is responsible for Safety, Quality, Planning, Scheduling, Budget, Change Management, and all on-site Construction activities. The position will be onsite in Alabama. Project Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain a culture of Safety on the job site with all direct team members, contractors, and sub-contractors. Establish and manage a quality program for the project including but not limited to quality hold points during fabrication, construction, and sign off criteria. Responsible for all work coordination between onsite contractors, suppliers, and owners team. Prepare and maintain a detailed schedule for construction. Responsible for tracking all invoices, payments, change orders, and back charges. Manage project communications, transmittals, and routine project reporting. Ensure all Requests for Information are answered in a timely manner with support from the Engineering Team. Evaluate and Mitigate risks to project performance related to safety, quality, schedule, and cost. Act as primary contact with the customer. The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required. Project Manager Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management is required. Minimum of 8 years of experience with industrial project management. Must be familiar with Construction Safety and OSHA requirements. Must be detail oriented and demonstrate experience and knowledge of Project Management Best Practices. Must have excellent oral/written communication skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project. Project Manager Physical Demands Overtime required to meet deadlines. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds occasionally. Requires long periods of sitting. Must be able to travel to off-site jobs. All the physical demands listed are essential functions.
