Senior Site Manager Huntsman is seeking aSenior Site Manager supporting the Advanced Materials Divisionlocated in McIntosh, Alabama and Rock Hill, South Carolinafacilities. This position will report to the Manufacturing DirectorAmericas. Job Scope The Senior Site Manager is responsible andaccountable for the safe day-to-day operations of bothmedium-hazard facilities. This includes overseeing all site safety,environmental, production, quality, and maintenance performance.

Additionally, the role is responsible for ensuring both sitescomply with PSM and RMP requirements. The Site Director is alsoresponsible for the administration of all production and technicalstaff and sets annual individual objectives and drives performanceimprovement. The ideal candidate will be a transformational leaderwith strong business acumen, and a strategic thinker with a visionof significantly improving plant safety, compliance, assetutilization, and P&L. In summary, as The Senior Site Manager,you will: Ensure that all site safety & environmental, as well asemergency response procedures are in place and maintained. Theseprocedures should meet or exceed Huntsman standards and all localand federal government laws and regulations; and must be understoodand followed by the site employees. Drive a strong EHS culturesupported by continuous improvement. Ensure both sites comply withPSM and RMP requirements including closing any gaps identified byinternal and external auditors. Serve as the site’s ethics andcompliance officer. All operations and actions must comply with theHuntsman Business Conduct Guidelines. Ensure that all securityissues relating to the protection of site property are in-place andmaintained. Ensure that all contractors employed in implementingand maintaining site security meet company standards and perform asexpected. Foster a culture of Continuous Improvement utilizing bothHuntsman and industry best practices. Manage the annual site fixedcost budget to target levels. Oversee management of contractors whowork on site (mechanical, electrical, etc.). Ensure that theyfollow all site safety and environmental procedures and meet ourexpectations on quality of work. Utilizing Site Leadership Teamreview contractor performance on an annual basis, and if needed,replace contractors. Execute the production plan, safely, tocustomer specification, on time, at cost with the minimal impact tothe environment. Ensure consistent quality products & performancethat are in line with customer expectations. Foster a teamenvironment that is continually looking for ways to improveCustomer Experience through improved service reliability anddelivery. Utilize data analytics to measure performance and makeeffective business decisions for each site. Maintain and establishKey Performance Metrics that support the site objectives, and theregional objectives outlines in the Policy Deployment / X-Matrix.

Engage the local community as appropriate to foster a relationshipof trust and confidence. Represent the site at the Community ActionPlan (CAP) meetings and the McIntosh Industrial Park AreaImprovement Association (MIPAIA). Oversee management of capitalprojects budgeting and execution at both sites. All capitalprojects must be completed on schedule and within budget. Properplanning and forecasting of capital expenses must follow thecorporate timelines and submission processes. Where appropriate,meet with commercial and technical associates to ensure thatproduction and quality expectations of the business are being met.

If the site falls short on objectives to the business, the SiteDirector will have responsibility to put in place the neededcorrective actions. Establish key objectives for the site personnelto align with corporate, division, and functional goals andobjectives. This should be done annually at a minimum. Performanceagainst key objectives should be measured and monitoredcontinuously, with individual feedback given on a regular basis.

Any performance deficiencies should be addressed through strongperformance management and corrective actions if necessary. Ensurecross functional visibility and alignment of process opportunitieswhich impact the sites’ ability to deliver on the strategy andbusiness objectives. Serve as the main point of contact for leaseand service level agreements with landlords at both facilitiesincluding the Pilot Plant located within the BASF property inMcIntosh Qualifications You must possess the below minimumqualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimumrequirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying topcandidates. The candidate must have an unrestricted right to workfor Huntsman in the United States. Minimum Qualifications BS degreein related technical or business field and a minimum of 10 years ofrelevant work experience. MBA and chemical science or engineeringexperience and CI skills (lean, 6 sigma) are considered significantadvantages. A minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Leadership rolewith at least 3 years as a Plant Manager. Site/facility/planttechnical competency, preferred in a chemical synthesis operation.

Skills and knowledge Experience with managing a fixed cost budgetof >$35 Million. Experience managing in a union environment.

Experience in a global, highly matrixed organization is desired.

Strong desire to positively cultivate relationships and build andlead a high-performing team through effective PerformanceManagement. Must be fluent in English (verbal and written).
