Project typology will range from ground-up construction as well as interiors work for multifamily, senior living, affordable housing, healthcare, academic, private club, municipal, hospitality, museums and culture, and specialtyprojects. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the early stages of construction projects, ensuring that all aspects of project planning and coordination are executed efficiently. This position requires strong leadership skills, as well as expertise in construction estimating and project management. Duties Oversee the preconstruction phase of projects, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to develop project schematics and specifications. Conduct thorough construction estimating using tools such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to prepare accurate cost assessments. Coordinate project timelines and resources to ensure timely completion of preconstruction activities. Review and analyze project plans to identify potential challenges and propose solutions. Facilitate communication between various teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables. Utilize software such as Civil 3D and Primavera for project management and scheduling tasks. Maintain comprehensive documentation of all preconstruction activities for future reference. Skills Proficient in construction estimating and project coordination techniques. Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices. Familiarity with software tools such as Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, and Primavera. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in reviewing schematics and plans. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating leadership capabilities. Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members on construction sites.
