Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Superintendentto oversee day-to-day on-site operations for our commercialconstruction projects throughout Connecticut. The ideal candidatewill be responsible for managing field personnel, coordinatingsubcontractors, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring thatprojects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highestquality standards. Client Details Our client is a reputableConnecticut-based Commercial General Contractor with a strongportfolio of successful projects across a variety of sectors,including retail, health care, education, hospitality, andmixed-use developments. Description Manage and oversee all on-siteconstruction activities from start to finish. Coordinate andsupervise subcontractors, vendors, and field staff. Monitor projectschedules and work closely with project managers to ensure timelycompletion. Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safetymeetings and inspections. Ensure compliance with all buildingcodes, regulations, and company standards. Communicate regularlywith clients, inspectors, architects, engineers, and internalteams. Maintain accurate site documentation including daily logs,progress photos, and incident reports. Proactively identify andaddress potential issues or delays before they impact the scheduleor budget. Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings. ProfileMinimum 5-10 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercialconstruction. Proven experience with ground-up, interior fit-out,and renovation projects. Strong knowledge of building systems,construction methods, safety regulations, and scheduling. Excellentleadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proficient inreading and interpreting construction documents, blueprints, andspecifications. Tech-savvy; comfortable using project managementsoftware (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar). OSHA 30certification required.
