Summary A Project Coordinator (PC) is responsible as the point of entry for all Construction project documents, both from the field, as well as for external customers (General Contractors and Owners). The PC also supports the Project Managers, Trade Managers, Project Engineers, and Field Personnel. Essential Duties Maintain current files and construction log activity Coordinate Document Control including procurement of current and revised documents with all changes, distribute documents to foremen, subcontractors, vendors, etc. Prepare and review submittals and books for the Project Manager/Engineer. Includes setup of books, logging, tracking, and distribution Coordinate job needs with Project Manager and Foreman Process purchase orders and subcontracts Pull permits for mechanical and plumbing needs Track all certificates of insurance Maintain warranty logbook Set up job site trailers with office supplies and forms and communicate with the team to assure they have the proper supplies and forms for that project Project closeout: Assemble Operation & Manual (O&M) Books, request product data from subcontractors/vendors, submit as-built for the project, coordinate and transmit spare parts to GC, transmit Test and Balance Reports, transmit system test reports such as Medical Gas Certifications, obtain Vendor Warranties, etc. Provide backup phone coverage for the front office Other duties and special projects as assigned Experience / Education Minimum of 1-2 years as a construction project coordinator or related experience in a similar role. High school diploma or equivalent required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
