Job Description

Construction Project ManagerFull-Time / Monday-Friday / 8:00am-5:00pmEnfield Enterprises, Inc. a General Construction Firm is looking for a Construction Project Manager to join our team supporting the re-building efforts at Tyndall Air Force Base. This individual will lead the daily management and execution of the construction process on projects of various sizes and scopes. The Construction PM will assist with safety management, quality, cost management, estimating, and scheduling to ensure the successful completion of each project, both on time and within budget.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

SAFETYLeading by example the Safety program in accordance with company policies, local, state and federal laws including all subcontractorsAssist the Safety Departments development of project specific safety plansObtain and maintain current certifications for First Aid, CPR, and

OSHATECHNICAL

KNOWLEDGEProvide guidance and support during pre-construction services to include preparing cost estimates, scopes of work, initial schedule, and project submittalsNegotiate subcontract agreements, subcontractor submittal and RFI management, schedule and change order management, and contract close-outDevelop detailed schedules and update in a timely manner as required by the projectResponsible for preparing, tracking and controlling construction schedule, material status log, and associated costs to achieve project completion on time and budgetLead and prepare change proposals, negotiate, execute, and issue change orders to subcontractors and others; prepare revisions to the budget, as a result of change ordersLead project meetings: internal or customer facing, including the preparation of meeting agendas and disseminating meeting notes to various stakeholders within upper managementPossess the ability to execute a thorough review of submittals, shop drawings, and requests for information (RFI’s), including coordination with contract documentsOversee the management of the project closeout process ensuring proper completion of the job close out check lists, punch list process, and collecting and issuing project close out documentationEnsure project images are being taken over the course of the project and properly uploaded to Project Management software programsPerform other duties as assignedCOMMUNICATION, TEAMWORK and MANAGEMENTWork with the On-Site Superintendent to assist/lead construction efforts for the entirety of the projectEffectively communicate with all team members, clients, and subcontractors throughout the project including progress and any potential impactsMentor junior professionals by reviewing work, strengthening professional skills, communicating performance concerning and being a resource for professional developmentDemonstrate a sense of urgency concerning all aspects of the project and communicating the importance of being proactive while executing specific job duties
