About the Company A leading Commercial general contractor in South Florida. Responsibilities Ground up projects Projects from Municipal to Governmental, to Education & Commercial Lead the on-site team from construction start to finish Communicate and interpret contract scope to the entire site management team Conduct preconstruction meetings with all subcontractors prior to beginning each phase of work Create and maintain a project production schedule Review and assist in developing scopes of work for each subcontractor Enforce safety protocols to ensure job site consistently adheres to OSHA safety standards Communicate regularly with team members from construction managers, other superintendents, and project coordinators to ensure progress is achieved Qualifications 8+ years of construction experience as a Superintendent Experience with ground-up construction projects Skills A thorough knowledge of federal, state and local building codes. Must have specific knowledge of field supervision for layout, framing, MEP, and finish trades. Experience on $20M+ Projects Efficient with reading blueprints & schematics, management Experience in scheduling Proven track record of safety in conjunction with all OSHA requirements and guidelines.
