Leadership, initiative, critical thinking with a strong focus on task completion and customer satisfaction are essential to this position. Duties and Responsibilities (including, but not limited to): Review and analyze project plans prior to job commencement. Manage day-to-day construction activities, including site prep, inspections, customer communications, coordination of field teams and subcontractors. Assist with permitting, material procurement and pre-project planning to ensure a smooth transfer from office to field. Ensure customers are informed and updated to ensure expectations are clearly understood and achieved. Maintain high quality standards on all projects, conducting daily site visits and inspections, addressing any issues promptly. Foster a high-performance team environment to maximize employee performance.
Qualifications/Skills/Requirements:
10+ years of proven construction management experience preferably in marine construction or waterfront construction Strong understanding of permitting, codes, marine construction materials, and marine construction methods Comfortable working in both field and office environments Strong organizational skills and ability to analyze problems and make sound decisions promptly based on objectives, risks, implications and costs Good oral and written communication (English and Spanish is mandatory) Valid driver’s license Competitive Salary, negotiable based upon experience and qualifications
