Industrial Shadeports, Inc is searching for a full-time Field Construction Project Manager based out of our Fort Lauderdale location. This Position is responsible for Construction for all types of Shade Sails and Shade Structures. Our primary markets are playgrounds, parking, etc. Check out our website at www.shadeports.com to see examples of our work. The Field Construction Project Manager will oversee the execution of projects on job sites.
Skills:
Strong communication skills required.
Communicate using the following tools:
telephone, written logs, email, computer, digital camera. Able to meet hard deadlines. Must work well independently with direction. Previous experience with canvas awnings, playgrounds, shade sails, custom engineered construction products and projects is preferred but not required. Ability to create and maintain a team environment. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, be a team player, able to “hit the ground running” with a get it done attitude. The role is critical to ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed. Experience with working on large, heavy projects and managing multiple field crews and projects. Must be able to schedule crews and projects and ensure timelines, budgets, quality and safety standards are met.
Requirements:
Construction:
5 years minimum (Required).
Field Superintendent/Supervision:
2 years minimum (Required).
A VALID, CLEAN FL
driver’s license is REQUIRED and reliable transportation (Required). Work on Saturdays as needed.
Language:
Fluent English (Required), Spanish helpful. Willingness to travel to jobsites located within Florida. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. (We use E-Verify).
