Federal Construction Superintendent Job Description The Federal Construction Superintendent role requires an experienced professional to oversee construction projects at a federal level. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of construction management, safety compliance, and project supervision. Responsibilities Provide leadership and oversight as a Superintendent on projects similar in size and complexity. Interpret critical path schedules and construction drawings accurately. Ensure compliance with safety standards, specifically EM 385-1-1, and identify potential hazards. Coordinate with Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) and Quality Control Manager (QCM) to ensure separate individuals manage these roles. Maintain responsibility for all Superintendent duties, ensuring consistency and reliability in project management. Provide proof of qualifications if requested by the Contracting Officer to demonstrate performance capabilities.
