About the role We are seeking a Field Supervisor to join Mainline Fiber. As Field Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing all daily aspects and resources necessary to complete our OSP projects across multiple customer projects. As Field Supervisor, you will play a critical role in the business through communication with our vendors, customers and neighborhood residents, as well as managing job documentation and deliverables. What you’ll do Manage all assigned OSP projects, clients, subcontractors in accordance to SPEQ Metrics Maintain all project related data through company software and defined processes. Follow all company protocols for gathering necessary project data such as production schedules, daily logs, redlines, as-builts and other project deliverables Ensure Quality Control is done in a timely manner Report any damages or incidents to company management with documentation Maintain clear timely communication to customers, subcontractors and management. Create and maintain healthy relationships with vendors, customers, employees, and subcontractors. Reads and understands splice records and can effectively splice fibers in accordance with those records. Know about the different materials and methodologies involved with the installation of a structured cabling system. Perform break fixes, troubleshoot, and read splice records and blueprints. Actively champion company culture and leadership goals when carrying out all responsibilities Qualifications 5+ years related experience in the telecom industry with a general understanding of products/standards 5+ years of prior leadership and/or supervisorial experience. 5+ years of fiber splicing experience. Valid U.S. Driver’s License Ability to travel daily, open to a variety of schedules and accessible as the point of escalation Excellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
