POSITION SUMMARY
Provide nutritionally balanced meals, social activities, and support to Senior citizens at a congregate dining site and for home delivered meal programs.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Set up meal site for daily activities
- Delivery of meals as needed
- Receive, inspect and count meal items upon delivery from meal caterer
- Handle all cancellations and scheduling for congregate meal site volunteers
- Set up meal site activities (recreation, nutrition, education, guest speaker.
- Clean up and pack up in preparation for the next day
- Coordinates and provides training to meal site volunteers.
