The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully overseeing construction projects from start to finish. The Asst. Project Manager (Construction) will be responsible for on-site safety, SOPs, crew management, inventory, QA/QC and on-field purchase approvals. • Manage and coordinate with foremen on construction sites to ensure safety compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and OSHA protocols.
• Prepare and update detailed SOPs for on-field procedures.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure that projects are completed according to schedule.
• Track on-field expenses and identifying areas for cost savings.
• Manage and collaborate with construction teams, including foremen, carpenters, and laborers to ensure company HR policies are implemented.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure that all construction activities meet safety and quality standards.
• Oversee the creation of project reports, including weekly reports and final project reports.

Skills:

• Strong experience in construction project management.
• Ability to read and interpret design and schematics.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure that all construction projects meet safety and quality standards.
