Assistant Superintendent – Ground-Up Multifamily
Tampa, FL

We’re partnered with a reputable general contractor actively hiring an Assistant Superintendent to join their growing team in Austin, TX. This role supports ground-up multifamily residential construction projects and offers strong long-term growth potential.
What You’ll Do
Assist the Superintendent with day-to-day site operations for ground-up multifamily builds
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain schedule and quality
Ensure safety standards and protocols are enforced on-site
Track progress and assist with daily reports and documentation
Help manage inspections, site logistics, and material deliveries
Support punch list walkthroughs and closeout procedures
What We’re Looking For
2-5+ years of field construction experience, ideally in multifamily or commercial
Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site operations
Comfortable managing subcontractors and enforcing quality and safety standards
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Local to the Austin market or open to relocation
