Their mission is to ensure a safe work environment for all of our employees, continuously improve the delivery of our projects and materials, to perform at the highest level, and to achieve excellence in customer satisfaction Candidate Skills, Experience, and Background Must have experience leading Paving, Asphalt, and Roadway/ Heavy Highway Projects as a General Contractor from start to finish. Must have DOT (Department of Transportation) project experience. You must understand and be willing to navigate the intricacies of working with Government entities as clients. Must have experience operating in a General Contracting capacity; understand and demonstrate capabilities of managing the nuances of a project, including such things as: Project Administration, Cost Control, Design or Engineering Issue Resolution/Management, Client Management/ Relationship Management, Plan Reading, Scheduling etc. Must be capable and willing to manage people and teams; take gratification in being part of and leading a team, and embrace/thrive in the challenges this can produce. Must be able to think on their feet, possess intellect & emotional intelligence, and can manage task experts, including subcontractors and vendors.
