Position Objective:

As a Construction Superintendent with I&E Construction, you’ll be at the helm of our projects, shaping their success. You’ll be entrusted with the critical responsibilities of scheduling, planning, coordinating, implementing, and monitoring construction activities. In your role as an on-site coordinator and project representative, you’ll work in harmony with our project manager to ensure project schedules, budgets, and design expectations are not just met but exceeded.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Preconstruction /

Job Startup:

Chart the course for project startup, making it a beacon of excellence. Establish and maintain job site services and security, setting the stage for trust and integrity. Go over pre-construction checklists, engage in essential meetings, and ensure meticulous review of submittals. Create and uphold the master schedule. Coordinate with local authorities and service providers, forging connections that foster trust. Set up the job office with an unwavering focus on efficiency and professionalism.

Construction:

Oversee the on-site performance of subcontractors, suppliers, labor, and equipment. Champion quality control and safety awareness, leaving no room for compromise, and enforce the highest standards in job cleanup. Coordinate inspections flawlessly and compile daily job recaps that showcase our dedication to excellence. Craft and review RFIs Review subcontractor and supplier cost claims alongside the Project Manager.

Contract Closeout:

Lead the charge in closing out projects with unparalleled efficiency and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. Ensure that punch list items are addressed meticulously, leaving no room for ambiguity. Demonstrate an unyielding understanding of permit acquisition procedures. •

Qualifications:

Possess a wealth of knowledge and experience as a Construction Superintendent. Showcase proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and ProCore. Exhibit a deep understanding of building processes, practices, and techniques in commercial and multi-family residential construction. Demonstrate strong understanding in the intricacies of site logistics, contract operations, and tight urban site management. Demonstrate proficiency in construction documents, drawings, and all phases of construction, highlighting your commitment to excellence. Have a proven track record in all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling, and cost control. Possess strong technical and communication skills.
