Nationwide Travel (90% Monday-Friday)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Site Manager to lead and oversee the on-site installation, relocation, and disconnection of digital and analog public safety and commercial two-way communications equipment. This role requires weekly overnight travel (Monday-Friday, up to 90%) to various customer sites across the country. As a key representative of our organization, the Site Manager ensures high-quality, timely, and safe installations while coordinating closely with customers, project managers, engineers, and field staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all on-site operations, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets Supervise contractors and subcontractors while enforcing safety and quality standards Coordinate delivery and usage of materials, including RF components Perform regular site walkthroughs and inspections to verify quality and compliance Plan and manage construction timelines, resources, and documentation Provide hands-on support in the field, including use of tools and assisting technicians Conduct pre-site and on-site meetings with stakeholders Identify and resolve project issues or delays Maintain effective communication with internal teams and clients Submit and manage project budgets and resource plans
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred; General Contractor Certification a plus 5-10 years of direct project or site management experience, preferably in communications or construction Experience in military, public safety, or telecommunications is a strong advantage Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team coordination skills Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and project documentation Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Requirements:
Clean driving record and background check Willingness to travel up to 90%, including multi-week assignments Must pass drug screening and physical capability requirements (lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, etc.) Proficient with hand tools and technical checklists
