Position Overview:

As the Director of Plumbing , you will lead a growing division with responsibility for both residential and commercial plumbing projects and service work. You’ll play a critical role in developing the department—building systems, growing the team, and cultivating a culture of excellence, accountability, and morale. This is a High-impact leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on cross-department collaboration, values people development , and is energized by building something with long-term growth potential.

Compensation:

$115,000 to $130,000 annually

Responsibilities:

Lead and grow the plumbing division with a strong focus on employee morale, retention, and performance . Build and execute strategies for departmental growth, training, and operational success. Oversee all plumbing projects—estimating, scheduling, installation, and quality control. Develop and implement training programs aligned with safety, quality, and code standards. Create structured mentorship and apprenticeship programs to foster internal talent development. Partner with our existing Leaders, Project Managers, Estimating, Procurement , and other internal teams to ensure seamless project execution. Recruit, hire, and onboard new plumbing team members in alignment with company growth. Conduct regular job site visits to provide technical support and reinforce quality expectations. Stay current with industry codes, trends, and technology to guide innovation within the department. Champion a safety-first mindset and lead by example in professionalism and communication.

Requirements:

Plumbing Contractor License with the State of Florida (Preferred) 7+ years of plumbing experience, including 3+ years of leadership or management responsibility. Experience managing plumbing service and projects for both commercial and residential Demonstrated success in leading teams, growing departments, and driving culture. Familiarity with construction project lifecycles and coordinating across multiple teams. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a team-centered mindset. Comfort using project management tools and communication platforms. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
