Residential Glazier/Installer Lake Glass & Mirror 3411 West Main Street, Leesburg, FL 34748 Residential Glazier/Installer At Lake Glass & Mirror, Inc., our commitment to Clear Quality and Timeless Service drives everything we do. As a Residential Lead Glazier , you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional installation experiences for our clients across Central Florida. Reporting directly to the Residential Operations Manager, you’ll lead on-site efforts to measure, fabricate, and install glass with unmatched precision, professionalism, and safety. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for a seasoned glazier who takes pride in craftsmanship, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Installation & Glass Handling:
Accurately measure, cut, and install glass in accordance with project requirements. Ensure every installation reflects top-tier craftsmanship, durability, and safety. Select and maintain proper tools and equipment for various glass systems. Safely load/unload and transport glass materials.
Client Communication & Coordination:
Serve as a primary point of contact during residential installations. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, contractors, and teammates. Address client questions or concerns on-site and ensure their satisfaction. Maintain respectful interactions with other contractors or tradespeople on shared job sites.
Team Supervision and Training:
Lead, train, and mentor assistant glaziers to build a strong, skilled team. Uphold installation consistency, safety, and workmanship standards across the team. Collaborate with the Operations Manager to foster professional growth, efficiency, and regular coaching of assistant glaziers through ongoing reviews.
Safety and Compliance:
Promote and enforce company safety standards at every job site. Conduct safety briefings and monitor compliance with OSHA and company protocols.
Tool, Fleet & Administrative Tasks:
Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and jobsite. Support fleet and equipment maintenance needs in coordination with the Operations Manager. Document material usage, work performed, and site issues accurately. Inspect tools for proper functioning and report repair needs.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience as a residential glazier, with strong technical and leadership skills. Proficiency with Smart Glazier and/or Showers Online (preferred). Ability to read blueprints and use precise measurement tools. Physically able to lift 100 lbs and work in various environmental conditions. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Pass background check and drug screening.
