The Land Development Manager will oversee the planning, development, and execution of land development projects. This role is critical in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial and real estate skills, with a focus on managing the complexities of land development. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage land development projects from inception to completion.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to design development plans.
Ensure compliance with local zoning regulations and land use planning requirements.
Conduct environmental impact analysis and coordinate with regulatory agencies for permitting.
Prepare and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.
Engage with stakeholders, including community members and government officials, to gather input and support for projects.
Negotiate contracts with vendors, contractors, and consultants.
Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
Utilize GIS tools for site analysis and planning.
Supervise site development activities to ensure adherence to project specifications.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in land development or a related role.
Strong knowledge of commercial real estate and land development processes.
Familiarity with zoning regulations, permitting processes, and environmental assessments.
Experience with budget management and project scheduling.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proficient in GIS and other land development software.
