Responsibilities:

Provide supervisory direction of craft workers via the general foreman and foreman, managing the performance of productivity, safety, quality, and schedule adherence. Coordinate and interface effectively with project managers and subcontractors, customer representatives, inspectors and other managers to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence. Provides management of subcontractors and organization of the overall job and workflow. Leads various meetings including daily standup and weekly trade meetings. Completes daily reports, logs and tracking reports as required by contract and company policy. Follows the project filing and documentation organization system as dictated for the project. Updates drawings, logs, and inspection notebooks. Communicates key project information to owners, governing authorities, subcontractors, suppliers, and other departments. Assist Project Manager in tracking and monitoring project budget and costs. Monitor costs, including labor time and material. Develop and maintain site logistics plan, in coordination with Project Manager. Manage changes and implements the project’s schedule as needed, in conjunction with the Project Manager. Participates and assists Project Manager in facilitation of progress meetings with all stakeholders Leads all aspects of safety standards and creates awareness by demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment through individual actions and mentoring others. Conduct weekly safety meetings (Toolbox Talks) Maintains safety log and OSHA Reporting requirements Inspect and evaluate the project site, equipment, and processes in working areas to ensure compliance with all applicable local, state and federal regulations, company, owner, policies and procedures. Plan, control and coordinate all work to eliminate hazards, minimize risks, and aggressively manage losses involving injuries or property damages. Work directly with the Project Manager and the management team to develop and implement an effective site-specific safety plan as required by contract. Facilitates or participates in incident investigations and near miss reporting. Conduct quality inspections Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts Coordinates and manages the care, custody, and control of the project site. Develop and Administer the Quality Control Plan Certify that all submittals are compliant with contract requirements. Review plans and specifications to ensure requirements are met for each construction process. Provide documented evaluations, assessments, and CQC subcontractor personnel. Review all catalog cuts and material submittals for compliance with plans and specifications. Ensure all water, soil, materials, and mechanical systems testing are conducted by approved personnel and/or approved testing facilities. Distribute written inspection/test results to appropriate agencies. Ensure effective and timely preventive and corrective actions are taken and recurrence of problems are eliminated or minimized. Maintain and submit hazardous material reports to government environmental office. Conduct pre-final inspections/ establish punch list if required/ ensure all deficiencies are corrected. Coordinate and conduct final inspections with government contracting and civil engineer personnel. Maintain red-line drawings for final as-builts; log and maintain all documents (warranties, product cut sheets, PM logs, etc.) for final closeout. Preferred Qualifications At least ten years’ experience in the construction industry, with at least five years in a supervisory role. Previous knowledge/experience in school work. Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, engineering drawings and other documents, Demonstrated ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate craft performance OSHA 30/First Aid certification Demonstrated experience with renovations in active work areas Experience with ProjectSight or similar project management software such as ProCore. Physical effort required for frequent lifting or moving of materials Ability to regularly required to sit or stand, bend, and reach Ability to lift forty (40) pounds and walk a project site and climb ladders as required. Work is regularly performed in adverse weather conditions Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license Must be able to pass background check compliant with Jessica Lunsford Act, and drug screening. Must be available & flexible to work night shifts (and other shifts if applicable)
