Our client is a reputable commercial general contractor specializing in municipal and educational facility construction throughout Central Florida. With a strong portfolio of K-12 renovations and ground-up commercial projects, they are committed to delivering high-quality results that serve the community.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Superintendent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction. Ideal candidates will have a background in K-12 school renovations, though those with strong ground-up commercial project experience will also be considered. This is a full-time, second-shift position based in Orlando (Orange County), with working hours from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and weekend availability as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily on-site operations for renovation and construction projects. Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and inspections to ensure timely project delivery. Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards. Communicate effectively with project managers, school officials, and municipal stakeholders. Monitor project progress and resolve field issues proactively. Ensure minimal disruption to school operations during renovation work.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction. Experience with K-12 school renovation projects is strongly preferred. Familiarity with municipal construction standards and procedures. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage night shifts and flexible weekend work. Proficient in reading blueprints and using construction management software. OSHA 30 certification preferred.
