Construction Manager/Superintendent Kinsell Custom Homes

Homes Ocala Ocala, FL 34474 •Salary is negotiable with experience•The superintendent manages all field activities for the construction of upscale homes. We seek a professional supervisor with a high attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You will manage daily construction activities and quality control of all trade partners and suppliers while monitoring site safety protocols and meeting scheduling deadlines and customer satisfaction goals. This is done by effective planning, directing, communicating, follow-up, and quality control demand.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and direct all aspects of construction Create/manage subcontractor schedules and inspect their workmanship Ensure that work is in compliance with city or county requirements and building codes Responsible for inspections and corresponding paperwork Approve all subcontractor invoices regarding work completion and quality Coordinate with the purchasing regarding budgets and quality of trade partners Ensure timely home completions and deliveries Perform all other duties as assigned
Essential Skills Required:
Experience with residential projects High degree of construction knowledge A proven professional with excellent judgment A highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented individual Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and intuitive interpersonal skills Strong time management skills, adaptable with the ability to manage multiple priorities & meet deadlines, and keen attention to detail Strong work ethic and integrity Accepts constructive feedback
