The ideal candidate will have MEP project experience in the commercial construction sector. The Assistant Project Manager will assist in managing various projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients. The Associate Project Manager will play a crucial role in supporting project initiatives while enhancing client satisfaction through exceptional service. Responsibilities Operating knowledge of plumbing and mechanical systems and installation methods Knowledge and understanding of plumbing and mechanical codes. Personal computer, tablet, and smart phone skills Work with project management team to create and maintain project budget and schedule Draft RFIs Assist project management team in submittal creation Assist with coordination and shop drawing review Assist with change order pricing and material requisitions Attend weekly internal progress meetings Work with other departments to accomplish tasks and resolve situations Create and maintain a culture of accountability Resolve conflicts with respect and professionalism Assist in project commissioning Coordinate with subcontractors and field supervision to maintain project schedule Requirements Ability to read and interpret: Blueprints, Detail sheets, Sketches, Schematics Ability to communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with people Always conduct themselves in a professional manner Ability to travel, as needed, for projects.
