The Assistant Construction Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Construction Manager in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. This position is responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and scheduling of construction activities
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
Monitor project progress and report on any issues or delays
Assist in the management of project budgets and financials
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control procedures
Participate in project meetings and communicate with stakeholders
Support the Construction Manager in contract administration and negotiations
Help resolve conflicts and problems that arise during the construction process
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
Proven experience in construction management or site supervision
Strong understanding of construction processes and safety regulations
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
