Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets. Oversee all phases of commercial construction projects, from preconstruction to closeout. Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications. Manage project teams, assign tasks, and monitor progress. Proactively address any issues that may arise during construction.
Client Communication:
Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on project status, milestones, and potential challenges. Address client concerns promptly and professionally. Foster strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
Budget and Cost Control:
Prepare accurate cost estimates, considering materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Monitor project expenses and adjust as needed to stay within budget. Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
Risk Management:
Identify and assess project risks during the preconstruction phase. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a project manager in commercial construction. Proficiency in construction software (e.g., Procore, Primavera). Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
