Concrete Superintendent Silva CIP Structures, LLC Miami Shores, FL 33138 This is a dynamic growth opportunity with a 34 year old company for a candidate ready to step up to the next level. The position is for a Concrete Superintendent with outstanding technical and interpersonal skills. The Jobsite Superintendent will lead and manage the day to day operations on the construction site and the field team, following the company procedures, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within the budget and with the specified quality standards, following the project plans and specifications. This role involves coordinating and supervising subcontractors, managing schedules, ensuring safety compliance and liaising with clients. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: General Duties Responsible to hire project field team (Riggers, Foremans, Operators, Workforce) Achieve deadlines by prioritizing tasks to keep schedules. status on a daily basis to project administration. Monitor each project to ensure design and construction activities are on schedule and within productivity goals, complying with contract documents and corporate procedures. Planning Study and fully understand project prior to commence Ensure to arrange meetings with all chosen vendors prior to the project commencement Prepare all material lists Assist Project Manager on generating a project schedule Review and understand productivity budget Review all submittals required and ensure approval before proceeding with material request or task. Evaluate field team personnel hired and confirm skills Maintain a clean and organized project at all times Managing the time allocation of field personnel, including subcontractors. Achieve the highest quality work through effective management of resources thru the construction process by: Being on site while performing any activity related to Silva’s Scope of work (Silva Employees and/or Subcontractors). Leading and managing the on-site field team (Silva’s employees and/or Subcontractors). Quality Control Verify all materials received in the project match the specifications and arrive in good condition Inspect all work performed by the project field team and/or subcontractors to ensure all required standards are met before any concrete placement. Complete the pre-pour form, ensuring all items are checked and forms are signed. Taking appropriate corrective action when warranted to maintain established company Quality Control Standards Report any defective or low-quality materials, tools, or equipment and notify the project team to take corrective action. Generate necessary punch lists with due dates Organizing Set up all necessary project accesses and staging areas. Provide logistic plan for project operations Identify problems or potential issues as they relate to the organization of the job Prioritize tasks to provide a smooth flow of the project Assign tasks and responsibilities to employees and/or subcontractors Communication Maintain accurate and up to date records for: Daily field reports Day to day correspondence Field orders RFI’s Submittals Shop Drawings Productivity reports Progress reports Weekly project progress pictures Scheduling & Productivity Review schedule progress weekly and ensuring adherence to it Complete Percentage of Completion forms and productivity reports when requested Notify the project team promptly of any schedule delays and provide a corresponding action plan to recover lost time. Coordinate and address any issues that may affect the project schedule with the project team, general contractors, and other trades. Safety Monitoring and ensuring on-site safety compliance by following the company’s Safety Policy guidelines Be knowledgeable of any applicable building codes Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements Responsible to walk all safety inspections with third parties or company safety manager Responsible to immediately address any issues from safety reports Maintain a safe work site by implementing good housekeeping regulations Enforce safe work habits Assist with safety training, Perform weekly safety meetings with all workers Keep safety meetings attendance records Perform safety checklists and reports as necessary Responsible that all workers have PPE Required to have a

certificate Required to have a CPR certificate Coordinate monthly jobsite safety inspections and perform a safety report Deadlines Complete each project on schedule from planning through completion, ensuring that all contract obligations are satisfied. Tools Responsible for all job site tool inventory and maintenance, Responsible for securing materials, tools and equipment at project Rentals Keep jobsite equipment rental log updated with vendor name, equipment ID, date of delivery and return Keep equipment fuel track sheet accurate and daily updated, with gallons used per equipment Ensure equipment is received and returned clean, with no damage and filled with fuel, Document deliveries and pickups on daily report with pictures. Plans & Shop Drawings Required to have expert knowledge of reading and interpretation of drawings Required to review and approve shop drawings prior to fabrication Review project drawings and identify potential problems prior to job start and during Confirm project is built per plan and specifications. Ensure latest drawings and revisions are being used at all times Generate RFI’s as needed Keep written records of General Contractor’s directives (Signed) Report any changes in drawings to Project Manager to create potential change orders prior of execution Inspections Be present to all required inspections by appropriate authorities at the required stages Conduct detailed pre-inspections after each trade has completed its tasks prior of inspections Inspect subcontractor’s completed work for Project Manager’s approval and payment authorization Keep written records of inspections performed (if Failed, please add notes with reasons.) Meetings Attend a Pre-construction meeting with Project Manager to align project plan for completion Attend General contractor’s coordination meetings. Conduct daily meetings at end of each day to discuss following days material, labor, equipment distribution and coordination, issues and action plan Concrete Pours Responsible to order and coordinate concrete pour with suppliers, vendors & Subcontraactors. Check weather conditions prior to any concrete placement. Review project specs and finishing guidelines prior to any concrete placement Maintain concrete pour records and confirm concrete test samples are taken Responsible to train personnel for concrete receiving Responsible to train personnel for traffic control at pour day Materials Coordinate materials request according to the project construction plan, with a minimum of 1 week in advance Coordinate deliveries with General Contractor when required Assure staging area and proper protection of materials to guarantee good conditions Avoid weather damages or unwanted use Coordinate with Project administrator to be sure all material was deliver to jobsite, tickets are coded and stamped and pictures added to daily report. mjg7VXXcdM
