Projects may include site cleaning and debris removal, site improvements, building repairs and modifications, cleaning, painting, and other building renovation tasks. Must be willing to travel to other locations in the US, possibly for extended period of time. In this position you will be the on-site authority responsible for daily coordination and direction of the project. Responsibilities include including scheduling, supervising all activities, ensuring safety and quality of the work and site, and maintaining daily project records. You will work together with the Project Manager as a complementary team. Superintendent should be detail oriented and self-motivated Must have a good understanding of construction concepts and techniques including planning, scheduling, resource management, safety and quality control. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Federal construction Ability to coordinate with on-site customer representatives Experience managing multiple subcontractors and direct-hire labor forces Computer skills and experience preparing daily construction reports required EM385 or OSHA 30-hour construction safety training Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors certification heavily desired Applicants are required to have a clean driving record, pass drug screening, and pass criminal background check.
