The role is responsible for the field operations and overseeing subcontractors at the project site. Works in direct cooperation with the Project Manager and other team members to achieve a successful project delivery.
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in the construction industry, including as a construction superintendent or in a similar role Experience in interior construction buildouts Specific experience in residential interiors build outs Proving ability to interpret construction drawings (all trades) Computer literate Must be bilingual: English and Spanish Able to work during extended hours and some weekends depending on client/job requirements Willing to temporarily relocate outside the state of Florida for an approximate period of 4 to 5 months, depending on the needs of the project or organization.
Responsibilities:
Oversee project from planning to completion to ensure a seamless closeout. Organize, lead, and monitor daily activities of entire project team (trade partners/subcontractors, vendors, laborers, etc.). Communicate effectively (written and oral) with team, trade partners/subcontractors, owners, architects, and clients. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and quality standards. Set up & facilitate job progress and safety meetings. Create, monitor and meet project schedules to prevent delays and/or cost overruns. Keep track of equipment and materials orders. Plan and carry-out inspections (all trades). Maintain a safe and clean job site. Procure job related materials and equipment.
Preferred Certifications:
OSHA 30 Hr. CPR / First Aid / AED Training.
Working Conditions:
Willingness to Travel (within and outside of Florida) and Relocate for Short Term Assignments. May have to work on occasional nights and weekends depending on project requirements.
