The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing development and construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed efficiently and effectively. This position requires strong project management skills and familiarity with various construction management software tools. The person will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate communication and ensure project timelines are met. Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee daily construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines. Utilize construction management software to track project progress and documentation. Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and budgets, ensuring all resources are allocated effectively. Assist in the preparation of construction estimates and proposals for accurate takeoffs. Maintain open lines of communication with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to address any issues or changes that arise during the project lifecycle. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, safety compliance, and quality control standards. Prepare reports on project status, including updates on timelines, budgets, and any potential risks or delays. Requirements Proven experience in real estate project coordination or management within the construction industry with specific experience dealing with Miami-Dade County Building Department. Proficiency in construction management software. Strong understanding of construction processes, site management practices, and estimating techniques. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders. Ability to problem-solve quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered.
