A leading South Florida-based general contractor is seeking anexperienced Construction Superintendent to manage field operationsfor healthcare construction projects in the Miami area. The idealcandidate will have a strong background in managing medicalfacilities-hospitals, clinics, surgical centers, or MOBs-and a deepunderstanding of the complexities, compliance standards, and safetyprotocols unique to the healthcare sector. Client Details ThisMiami-based healthcare general contractor stands out through theirproficiency in delivering medically sensitive projects-ranging fromVA hospital upgrades and outpatient clinics to major hospitalexpansions-while maintaining stringent safety, infection-control,and regulatory standards. Their capabilities encompass the fullconstruction lifecycle, ensuring projects are deliveredefficiently, effectively, and with minimal impact on activehealthcare environments. Description Lead and supervise all on-siteconstruction activities from groundbreaking through closeout.

Enforce adherence to project plans, specifications, and healthcareregulations, including AHCA compliance where required. Coordinatedaily with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, andinspectors to ensure smooth workflow and timely decision-making.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site in full compliancewith OSHA, infection control (ICRA), and local healthcare facilityprotocols. Schedule and manage all site inspections, includingpre-construction risk assessments and interim life safety measures(ILSM). Identify and proactively resolve field issues or delays tomaintain progress and quality. Document daily site activity andmaintain accurate project logs, RFIs, and field reports. Ensureproper installation of medical-grade systems such as MEPinfrastructure, oxygen/vacuum piping, and specialized finishes.

Support client and facility communications to minimize operationaldisruption during renovation or expansion work. Profile Minimum of7 years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 3years focused on healthcare facilities. Proven experience withAHCA-regulated projects and understanding of healthcare codes andstandards. Strong working knowledge of construction sequencing,safety protocols, and infection control measures. Ability to readand interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and technicalspecifications. Proficient in construction management software(e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project). OSHA 30 certificationrequired; ICRA certification highly preferred. Excellentleadership, communication, and organizational skills.
