ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsible for proper staffing levels at client’s facilities. Trains subordinates in job skills, proper cleaning methods and use of equipment. Ensures all safety procedures are followed by all employees. Responsible for the proper handling of employee daily attendance via payroll systems. Conducts daily inspections of site via Orange QC. Daily client interaction and documentation of meetings. Coordinates and oversees the Floor Care Program pertaining to the account’s requirements specified in the contract. Inspects and evaluates the physical condition of facilities to determine the type of work required. Inspects work performed to ensure that it meets specifications and established standards. Monitors account supplies inventory to ensure cleaning employees always have the necessary supply levels. Works closely with Janitorial Manager in resolving customer issues. Confers with staff to resolve performance and personnel problems, and to discuss company policies. Consults with HR to ensure employees assigned to each account meet all requirements. Responsible to perform recruiting functions including posting, flyers, and community outreach to cover all accounts under his/her umbrella. Prepares reports on activity, personnel, and information such as occupancy, hours worked, facility usage, work performed, and departmental expenses. Recommends changes that could improve service and increase operational efficiency. Evaluates employee performance and recommend personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, and dismissals. Additional functions may be required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High School degree or equivalent supervisory work experience. Must be fluent in English and Spanish. Experience reviewing and submitting payroll (budgeted hours against hours worked). Experience training and leading team leads/ supervisors. A knowledge of Microsoft Office suite – e.g., Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook. Availability to work shifts, both during the day and at night, as per the company’s minimum requirements. Demonstrate excellent leadership skills with ability to manage employees. Ability to work with other employees as a team. Good time management skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task. Punctual and dependable. A valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
