Role:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee ultra-luxury residential projects ranging from $5M to $25M. This role acts as an Owner’s Representative, managing contractors, construction budgets, and high-stakes timelines for multiple properties. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a family office, offering flexibility in location and the chance to work on some of the most prestigious residential projects in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the principal liaison between ownership and contractors, ensuring alignment on project scope, design, and execution. Oversee all phases of construction, from initial planning to final handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Manage project budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships, maintaining tight control over costs and timelines. Make independent aesthetic and design decisions that reflect the Principal’s vision and high standards. Coordinate with architects, designers, and subcontractors to achieve the highest levels of craftsmanship and finish. Oversee installation of high-end building systems, including Crestron, Savant, Lutron, smart home technology, and integrated security systems. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control, safety, and compliance with all building codes and regulations. Prepare detailed project reports, budgets, and timelines for Principal and family office review.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience managing ultra-luxury residential, boutique hospitality, or top-tier commercial construction projects. Proven track record delivering complex multimillion-dollar projects on time and within budget. Strong design fluency with the ability to make high-impact aesthetic decisions. Expertise in construction technology platforms (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project, CoConstruct, or custom Excel-based solutions). Advanced knowledge of high-end building systems, smart home technology, and premium materials. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Experience acting as an Owner’s Representative is highly desirable. Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
