Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee the daily operations of construction projects, ensuring compliance with project plans, schedules, and safety standards. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a deep understanding of construction management, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
Manage on-site construction activities, including scheduling, coordination, and supervision of subcontractors, trades, and labor crews. Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, quality standards, building codes, and safety regulations. Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain project progress. Monitor project performance, productivity, and budget adherence, proactively addressing delays, conflicts, and cost overruns. Conduct regular site inspections, quality control checks, and safety audits to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Foster positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure transparency and satisfaction. Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, change orders, and as-built drawings.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction supervision , preferably with a general contractor. Bilingual ( Fluent in English and Spanish) Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and safety regulations. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and manage on-site teams. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid) and Microsoft Office Suite . OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred . Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation .
