Project Foreman 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars 11500 Overseas Highway, Marathon, FL 33050 Overview This position is for a working foreman. For coordination and participation in the day-to-day construction process on site; implementing the construction intent of the architect/owner and Project Manager, to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities 1. Work alongside construction crews and subcontractors on site to maintain the project schedule and procurement requirements (reliable transportation required, preferably a truck or utility vehicle). Required to think ahead for daily, weekly, monthly, and upcoming material, labor, equipment, design, permitting, and subcontractor needs. 2. Read and implement construction and shop drawings. Draw/sketch and communicate site conditions/changes with the Project Manager as necessary for clarifications. Understanding of specified materials and construction methods for efficient implementation on site. 3. Work abilities to include finish carpentry, drywall, finishing, windows/doors, and an understanding of building systems and construction techniques (foreman must use their own tools, D.S. will reimburse for expendables). Scheduling work ahead of time for crews to complete various scope items instead of self-performing is preferred. 4. Coordinate material, labor, and equipment orders, schedules, and deliveries. Facilitate daily operations and deliverables with job Project Manager. Maintain daily assignments and delegations as needed. 5. Assist in material procurement and buyout, and subcontractor and vendor negotiations and schedules. 6. Operate heavy equipment as needed. 7. Coordinate with architecture, interior design, accounting, and other departments as needed to maintain project schedules and quality. Regular, organized communication and follow up is key. 8. Maintain ongoing construction logs (provide daily jobs reports, photos, and other deliverables using smart phones, Checkvist, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Todoist, etc.). Reports to be emailed to Project Manager, Project Administrator, and Project Executive the same day as the work is performed. 9. Maintain an accurate, ongoing project punch list and coordinate directly with the Project Manager and crews on site. 10. Maintain a safe, secure, and clean job site and crew/equipment operations. Enforce subcontractor cleanup that is defined in their contract (clean up every day). 11. Maintain an efficient job process to keep the project high quality and on schedule. 12. Ensure preparations are made for safe and complete inspections and code-required items. Attention to detail is critical to ensuring work is complete and of high quality. 13.
