Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Project Superintendent to support onsite construction activities for low-rise, wood frame multifamily projects . This role is ideal for someone looking to grow into a leadership position while ensuring schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols are met from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Superintendent in overseeing daily site operations Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain schedule adherence Monitor work for quality, safety, and compliance with plans/specs Help maintain site documentation, including daily journals, inspections and RFIs Support project planning and sequencing of construction activities Troubleshoot onsite issues and escalate as needed to the
Superintendent Qualifications:
Successful completion of the in-house Project Engineer (PE) program; or successful completion of an apprenticeship in trades or a cooperative education service such as BOCES; or a minimum of 5 years equivalent experience in the construction industry, required. Experience with low-rise, wood frame multifamily projects, required. Proficient with Microsoft applications, required. Construction software, preferred. Various Field Trade Role knowledge, required. Scheduling, design specifications, drawings and documents required. HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, required.
