GARNEY CONSTRUCTION ABIM/VDC
Manager position is available withGarney Construction. Tobe considered for this position, you must have previous BIM/VDCexperience.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Preparing contingency and risk analysis for the estimate andpre-review. Analyzing and compiling estimate data that impact the cost oflabor, materials, equipment requirements, location and otherfactors. Communicating estimate bid information to field operations atpre-construction meetings. Developing and maintaining business relationships with owners,small businesses, subcontractors and suppliers by creatingstrategic alliances and increase bid opportunities. Ability to provide conceptual estimates from limitedinformation.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Preferred but not required: Bachelor’s degree in civilengineering, construction management, business administration, orequivalent work experience. Proficiency interpreting construction drawings andunderstanding specifications. Must be able to review take-off quantities to ensure accuracyof data used in estimates and review drawings, specifications andproposed project site conditions.
